BOOK PRE-ORDER

A while ago the lovely Jim Swindles posted about putting a book together for the fans that was by the fans. Well after much thought the details of it are now here, I really hope you’ll get involved and back this exciting project.
The book, which will follow the style of Miles’ diaries, will be a collection of photos and stories from fans about the band and what it means to them. What we want are stories of how you found the band, weddings/funerals that have used the music, travelling to gigs, songs that have huge importance and moments that have significance etc. Basically if you’ve got a cool/happy/sad band story and you’d like to share, it’s going in the book!
With this we’d like fan photos to be included, live gigs, meetings, fan shots, these don’t have to relate to the stories but are about the band, you in your stuffies t-shirts when you had hair, anything band related etc. Please make sure they are ‘your’ photos though!
Miles has also said he will happily write the foreword and what the audience has meant to him over the years. We shall also have a few celebrity fans sharing their stories and photos throughout the book.
I’ve attached some pictures of how it will look and the title, it was fairly obvious really!
So if you want to get involved and have your story in print please pre-order the book on the link below. This is a totally crowdfunded project, we’ll need around 400 people to back it to even get it off the ground but with your fantastic support we can put together something that the fans can really be proud of. I’ll keep you informed of how we are doing and if the project has enough backers to see the light of day, I have high hopes it can. Also this will be a one off, there won’t be a reprint and the only way to get a copy is to be involved from the start, we wont be able to guarantee extra copies will be available when completed.
I’ve researched other bands versions and as ever we will do our very best to deliver the best version for the money possible.
